It always
comes down to this. How selfish, greedy and insensitive can some of these our
rulers be? They are parasites feeding fat on the blood of the people, causing
untold miseries and are like malignant tumours that just will not go away.

Nigeria 2015: Are We Broke, Getting Broke or Going For Broke?
The news going round is that Nigeria
is broke. I, for one, do not believe that fallacy. However, if the treasury is
indeed empty or nearing emptiness, then what it means is that this happened
because the government, this government and past governments had not exercised
good fiscal, economic responsibility and management.

A LESSON FOR ALL NIGERIANS
by Elombah.com (Elombah Perspectives)
Mubi, the biggest commercial town in Adamawa state, was thrown into chaos the day Boko Haram descended on them and the people found themselves running for their lives. The terrorists shot sporadically, killing a lot of people while those who could escape jumped into any available car to run to safety.

A Response to: "Transforming Ibadan – A Study in Resistance To Change" By Akintokunbo A Adejumo
Dear Mr Akintokunbo Adejumo,
Just stumbled on the above titled article you wrote, I think, sometime time in 2012, and I can't resist writing to give you kudos for a beautiful write-up that reflects the yearnings of those of us that were born and bred in Ibadan.(Though not 'son of the soil', as my parents are from Abeokuta and Awe).
I left Nigeria for Europe about twenty six years ago, and have since settled to live there, - but I do visit Nigeria about twice a year. I always look forward to the day my people will readily embrace modern positive changes similar to the ones I've been privileged to see in many major world cities you mentioned in your well written article. I hope and pray these changes we so dearly yearn for
will happen in our life time.
will happen in our life time.
At the moment, you might sound like the proverbial lonely voice in the wilderness, but keep up the good work of creating awareness.
My kind regards to you and all yours,
Olumuyiwa Adeniyi
