Ekiti people have decided and history has also been made. Ex-governor Ayodele Fayose, has won the gubernatorial election to the Government House. If it is truly what they want, then they have it and deserve it.
For the loser, APC Governor Fayemi, and the party itself, it should be a wake up call that the people of Nigeria do not support hypocrisy, and that the party is not doing enough, nationally, to be judged worthy of being a real opposition that could better the lives of Nigerians if given the chance.
Beyond politics, let Ayo Fayose realise that this a rare and another chance for him to redeem himself. His situation is not unsimilar to that of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, who had 3 chances to better Nigeria and to redeem himself. He did not take those chances, and that is why Obasanjo may never be elevated to the revered position of a TRUE STATESMAN in Nigeria.
This is Ayo Fayose's second and last chance from Man and God to redeem himself. Let him take it. I wish him the best.
