Our Own Worst Enemy: The Iniquities of a People
To be your own worst enemy: to cause most of your problems or most of the
bad things that happen to you yourself, because of your character.
A few years ago, I wrote an article
entitled “A People Beyond Redemption”. Four years later, the psyche of my
people remains the same, and I realised again that we are our own worst enemy. Of course I don’t expect my writing to
change 160 million people. (Who am I?)
