LONDON EVENING STANDARD: COMMENT - Tuesday, 6 May 2014, page 15
"All this may cause Boko Haram to raise its game but it can only be an improvement on the record to date of the Nigerian government, whose useful actions to recover the girls since their kidnap three weeks ago amounts to precisely zero".
"The Nigerian president, the unhappily named Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday said he had no idea where the girls were but that everything possible was being done. Meanwhile, the Nigerian police briefly detained not someone connected with Boko Haram, oh no, but Naomi Mutah Nyadar, a woman involved with mass demonstrations calling on the Government to get a grip and do something"

An Exercise in Futility and Time-wasting: Rescue Committee to find our Abducted Girls.
Rescue Committee: 26-man presidential panel to secure the release of 223 female students of the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
A rescue committee while human lives are at stake? What has happened to executive Presidential powers and authority?
We dont even know what has become or will become the fate of these young Nigerians girls; but our President thinks the formation of a committee will solve the problem. Absolutely inapt under this circumstance.
The Committee will sit for how many days, and then what? The report will ask the President to direct the military and security agencies to mount an operation against the abductors? The President already has that power to direct the military and the agencies without the need for a committee.
